PACKAGING DESIGN:
PDQ DISPLAY
[Summary]
PDQ Displays, or "Pretty Darn Quick" Displays, are a type of point-of-purchase (POP) display used in retail environments to showcase products and increase sales. It is designed to be easy to assemble and visually appealing. Typically placed in high-traffic areas of the store, such as at the end of aisles or near checkout counters, PDQ Displays are strategically positioned to capture shoppers' attention and encourage impulse purchases.
As a designer, my role in creating PDQ Displays involved developing the visual design elements of the display, including graphics, colors, and branding. Working closely with manufacturers, I ensured that the displays were not only visually appealing but also functional, easy to assemble, and cost-effective to produce. The end result was a high-quality PDQ Display that effectively showcased the product and drove sales in the retail environment.
